The Excellence in Leadership Academy is a comprehensive year-long leadership development program designed to build confident, capable leaders at every level of the organization. Through instructor-led learning, collaborative discussion, practical application, microlearning reinforcement, and guided reading, participants develop the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to lead teams effectively and support organizational success.
Unlike one-time leadership workshops, the Academy provides continuous development throughout the year, allowing participants to immediately apply new leadership concepts while building lasting leadership habits through ongoing learning and peer collaboration.
The program is fully customized to align with the organization's strategic priorities, leadership competencies, and workforce development goals.

Learning Experience
The Academy combines multiple learning methods to maximize engagement, retention, and workplace application.
Live Leadership Sessions
Participants attend twelve interactive instructor-led virtual classes throughout the year that introduce new leadership concepts, encourage discussion, and provide practical tools for immediate application. Two of those sessions will be held onsite to provide opportunities for collaborative learning, team building, strategic discussions, experiential activities, and application of key leadership principles.
Leadership Microlearning Series
Throughout the year, participants receive short, focused learning modules that reinforce live instruction, introduce leadership tips, encourage reflection, and support continued application between classes.
Leadership Book Studies
Participants engage in four facilitated leadership book studies, each lasting approximately three months. Guided discussion questions, reflection activities, and practical workplace application exercises encourage deeper learning while fostering peer collaboration and accountability.
Practical Workplace Application
Each learning module includes opportunities for participants to apply leadership concepts within their teams, reflect on outcomes, and discuss lessons learned with peers during subsequent sessions.
Annual Program Includes
- Annual leadership planning and curriculum customization
- Leadership competency alignment with organizational goals
- Ten live virtual instructor-led leadership classes (3-5 hours each)
- Two live onsite leadership workshops (3-5 hours each)
- Four facilitated leadership book studies (5 hours per each book study, usually broken into 1 1/4 hours a month)
- Year-long leadership microlearning series
